Ring of Paradise is a
awesome read and I will tell my friends all about it!!! Mrs. Douglas brought
her characters to life along with the unique storyline. I am so in love with
Flame and would love to see this character in another story. Also who is the
hottie on the front of the book!!! Keep the great books coming Maxin.

What i had read in the
book Rings of Paradise it truly kept me reading... i enjoyed what was offered
to review and i sure did like what i read.. and it left me wanting the book to continue on to find out how it come out...its
a different kind of romance and it seems exciting....

The unique plot and the
great characters kept me turning the pages of this contemporary romance. Sexual
tension is high between the two main characters, who probably couldn't be more
different than each other if they tried. Author Maxine Douglas spends a good
deal of time developing her characters. Couple that with the unique plot, and
you have a romance novel you devour within a few hours. I was sad to see this
book come to an end, and I would love to see either or both of these characters
in another story.
Rings of Paradise is a
superbly told, sexy romance. I'll be looking for more books by Maxine Douglas
soon.

Rings of Paradise, by
Maxine Douglas, is a romantic story about a man named Shadoe Donavan and a
woman named Khristen Roberts. Khristen's recent experience with a man made her
feel the need to look again, but with honesty and trustworthiness to be two
"must have traits" for her new man.
When she was given a
chance to be a reporter, she wanted to prove herself to her boss, Ric Scott,
and so she leapt at the chance of doing in-depth research and articles about
Pro Wrestling. But she had little knowledge of the subject, so she is learning as
she goes.
Khristen's efforts are side lined by a new man who has come into her life. Caught in deeper feelings than either had ever felt, Shadoe Donavan and Khristen Roberts fight to uncover truth from lies and the secret wishes of their own heart's desire.

I found this book
interesting and holding my attention to the end. I give it Four Stars.

Just my type of book. No
ex-boyfriends or ex-girlfriend's to deal with nor any kind of other nuisances
like that. In the second half of the book you could deeply feel Shadoe's pain
at how he had hurt Khristen and his love for her. It was very nicely written.
The only small thing I would change would be to have a slighter long ending at
the point where they meet up again. I felt it ended way too quickly. But the
rest of the story was really good that I cannot give it a lower rating than a
5.

I thought the book
started out a little slow but soon pick up very nicely, by the end of the book
I was wishing it was a little longer. I am not a fan of wrestling, however the
characters were believable and easy to relate to. Being from Madison I would
like to see a book with more information and settings on this beautiful city. I
will tell my sisters about this book and have them read it.

I've never read a
wrestling storyline before, and I really liked it! It made me want to watch a
wrestling match, just to see if any of the wrestlers are as hot as Shadoe! I
enjoyed Shadoe and Khristen's story, and I recommend the book to any lover of
romance!
