I was tagged by Debi Wilder for a new writing challenge; and I’ve
decided to modify it a bit. Hope you decide to take up the challenge!
It's pretty simple! Go to either
page 7, 17, 27, 37, 45, 57, etc. and starting with line 7, post the next 7
lines and then challenge 7 others to do the same.
I chose an excerpt from “Rings of Paradise” for my 7 sentences:
Little had he
known that she only cared about where he could put her on the social ladder. She
didn’t love him; only the size of his bank accounts had her heart. This had
been one marriage too many for him after the hate-filled divorce that all but
drained his bank account at the time.
Since then, he’d
acquired silent partnerships through numerous connections in his chosen field.
His work took him just about anywhere and at any given time. In fact, he
traveled so much, being there at the hotel was the closest to a home base he
had. Home always seemed to be a rented room.
I’m challenging the following 7 authors to do the same:
Kathy
L Wheeler
Sharon
Sala
Callie
Hutton
Sherry
Derr-Wille
Anna
Kittrell
Bev
Haynes
Tonya
Kinzer
